Full Explanation
GitHub Organization Insights provides aggregate analytics about collaboration and code health across an organization's repositories. Available data includes: (1) Code frequency — aggregate commits, additions, and deletions over time. (2) Dependency insights — aggregate dependency graph showing what packages the org uses and their health/vulnerability status. (3) Members with the most contributions. (4) Most active repositories. This feature helps organization owners and managers understand: development velocity, dependency exposure (how many repos use a vulnerable package), and contribution patterns. Insights are available for organizations on GitHub Enterprise plans. It's not real-time monitoring, not security-specific (that's the Security Overview), and not Actions-specific (that's the Actions usage report).
